             Riverfest 2008
              Second Annual Riverfest:  June 21st, 2008.  A fun day of events
              featuring a 14 mile canoe and kayak race, a 12 mile motorized canoe race and a 1 mile
              wacky anything that floats fun run.  Enjoy a barbecue in the park after the race and visit               the various craft booths.  A link will be posted here to the rules and race application                   once the the information is available.






        Madawaska's Acadian Festival
            June 22 thru 29 2008
            Maine's largest cultural festival celebrating the traditions of the Saint
            John Valley's French speaking population.


        Fort Kent International Muskie Fishing Derby
The scenic St. John River Valley has over 225 miles of prime habitat for Muskie Fishing.
Projected date August 8 thru 10, 2008.  $20,000 in prize money.
